It was our honor to meet Mary Ann and Dik who recently celebrated their 50 year wedding anniversary! Their children threw an amazing party for them at the Minnesota Boat Club on Raspberry Island. During our portrait session I asked Mary Ann what the secret to 50 years was. She the secret is that Dik is a great man. Judging by all the friends and family who attended the party it’s no secret that both Mary Ann and Dik are wonderful people. Thanks to you both for letting us be part of your wonderful day.

We had such a wonderful time with Beth and Tyler! They are both really funny and really sweet. St. Anthony Main is their ‘hood so we shot there. It’s hard to believe that just a week earlier we were getting pounded by snow! We had perfect weather and perfect light this day however. They will be getting married in Irvine Park which is so exciting. I’ve been wanting to shoot a wedding there for a while so it’s thrilling to get the chance. Especially with these two!! Courtney & Trace Engaged | Minneapolis Engagement Photography

Courtney and Trace booked us for an engagement only session as they are getting married in Texas and are all set with their photography there. They wanted a very ‘Minnesota’ engagement shoot so the Walker and surrounding attractions was a great choice for the location. We had a great time chatting and shooting. One thing I love about portrait sessions is that I get the chance to learn new things from the people I meet. Everyone is an expert at something and if you can figure out what that is you can learn a lot from them, even in a short time. I leaned some things about both marketing and anesthesia this time. Thanks you guys! And thanks for letting us be part of this special time in your lives. I can only imaging how beautiful your wedding is going to be and I’m very happy for you both!
